Hi
Awesome tool, been using it for a few years now without issue.
I would like to request something though. On the stats section, can you add the drone control range? For example I have built a Rattlesnake, I can see the ranges of the missiles, but not that of my primary weapon system. :)
Thanks. |

Thanks. Put your mouse over the drone info and you can see the tooltip show your range
Feel like an idiot now... never thought to do that. Thanks for the tip. |

OtoBnAggie wrote:Nice! Will EveMon import a fitting from EFT and show me only the affecting skills? Or do I still have to find all of the affecting skills and build the plan manually?
For Example. Freighter 1 is all that is required to fly a freighter. If I export the skill plan for a freighter and the freighter skill will not show up in a a training plan because i have the minimum requirements. However, Freighter 2, 3, 4, and 5 continue to affect the freighter. In other fittings there are even skills that affect that fitting that are not prerequisites to fly the ship at all: Affecting skills.
I would like a skill plan that I can export from EFT and import into EveMon that will show not only the minimum requirements but all the affecting skills to V.
EVEmon will still only create the plan with the minimum skill to fly the fit, in the plan window it is easy to set the planned skill level to 5.
However remember this does not include support skills. Example, if you put in T2 Cruise missiles in EFT and create the plan in EVEMon, the plan will only contain all the skills needed to fit the T2 Launcher. It will not have skills like "Warhead Upgrades" (Which increases the damage of all missiles), some manual tweaking is always required.

@Mortrius: I have been noticing discrepancies between EVE and EFT. So I deleted all folders except "Setups" "Characters" and the "config .ini" and it resolved them (example my Machariel in-game has 350 calibration and in EFT it had 400) Maybe this will help you as well?
Mortrius wrote:Also, can someone explain to me quickly how to export a fitting that I create into EVE? I have tried the import/export menu and cannot figure it out.
Thank you for your kindness and also for such a helpful and wonderful program.
Copy the fit to the clip board. Open notepad in EVE, paste, and then link the item types. That is how I do it, if there is a faster way I would also sure like to know about it. :) I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it. |
